What about books?
I never thought of myself as much of a follower but when it comes to the world of technology, I always seem to be at least two steps behind. I steal my layouts from websites that have already done all the work. I steal blogging ideas from my fellow bloggers (mostly Mandy). I'm stealing the "what I want to read" section of this blog from the facebook books app. And I have to beg Nikki to come over and reformat everything when I can't figure out what the hell I'm doing in "html edit."
With that being said. There are a million book blogs out there. Mine is not special, unique, witty or even the least bit amusing to anyone but me. The only thing that makes this different is that it's MY journal of books that I have read.
I feel satisfied when I finish a book. Like I've conquered something. I have a book journal that I wrote in several years ago (pre-kids) when I had time to endulge myslef in such silly tasks as writing in a journal. Now, blogging is the way to go and I'm totally on board. I've transferred my entries onto this blog. I stopped journaling when we moved into this house so there are about one million books between where the journal ends and where this blog picks up. Maybe I'll try to list them off one day. One day, when I have nothing better to do...

I really like your book blog :)
I think we have the same taste in books. I have Water for Elephants if you want to borrow it. It's a wonderful book and I highly recommend. Also, have you read 'The Red Tent'? It's another great book.
